About
I help small companies look as careful as they are.

I am Noa Lind, an independent designer and art director based in Lisbon. For twelve years I have designed names, marks, boxes and books for companies that make things by hand or in small batches.
I studied graphic design in Porto and spent my first years at a branding studio in London, working on large retail projects with long approval chains. I learned a lot about systems there, and even more about what I did not want to do. In 2016 I moved back to Portugal and started working on my own, with clients I could meet in person.
Most of my clients are perfumers, ceramicists, publishers, tea and coffee importers, and small skincare brands. They have a good product and little time, and they need a brand that does its job quietly for many years. I work alone or with a small circle of photographers, writers and printers, so every project stays close and personal.
Outside the studio I collect old type specimen books, teach a packaging course at the university once a year, and spend too much time choosing paper.

How I work
I take on six to eight projects a year, so each one gets my full attention from the first call to the last print check. You always talk to me, never to an account manager. I work in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and about half of my clients are outside Portugal.
